Dining - Kekou
A contemporary, award winning craft beer and Pan Asian eatery. This restaurant is known for its use of classic spices to form a fusion between the two cuisines of contemporary and Asian. In this same line of thought, a not so common pairing between craft beers and each dish is available. Unfortunately, being a non-drinker I was unable to experience this myself, however my friends consistently ushered me to try it. Man! The fizzy nature of the beer paired with the tarte dressings on the kingfish ceviche was on a whole new level.

On another note, the food itself was phenomenal; the pairings of umami scallops with a chilli infused oil was unique and simply hit the spot. Did I mention the theatrics of the roti bread? The placement of a golden ball dusted in red in a large bowl was amicable.
However, we were then informed that we needed to smash it - this was quite the dilemma. Once smashed, the release of smoke left the appealing smell of bread in the air. Moving onto the mains; some highlights were the tender beef ribs, pork belly and curry. The dining experience was geared towards share plates and communal dishes, under the ambience of relaxed jazz music and dimmed lighting.
