Calia has my number one spot if we were ranking on convenience, price and quality. Located at the front of the Emporium, no one is bound to miss this restaurant. This modern and illuminated restaurant which connects Japanese cuisine to a more contemporary style is amazing. Dishes such as ochazuke (where rice is poured over tea) and some which are icons of Japanese food are served.

Extras
With marble tables, greenery and large windows the environment is perfect for anything (even studying)! Unique flavours such as matcha, hojicha and taro are brought through desserts and lattes. Don’t get me started on the cute latte art that comes with each drink.
My go-to is the chirashi, which is a selection of quality fish which has been sustainably sourced alongside a warm matcha latte. Calia also stands out from other restaurants by offering a shop filled with Japanese ingredients. You can purchase a piece of Japan and bring it into your own kitchen!
