Bakery - Bakemono
Calling all croissant fanatics! Tucked in a cosy alleyway, this Japanese-style bakery is bound to satisfy your cravings. Beware, unlike other shops Bakemono sells out often at midday, so I personally find myself in the morning rush. Their assortment of savoury and sweet is broad and there’s something to love about each pastry. I can’t forget their drinks; coffee and tea although as a profound tea enjoyer I can definitely vouch for their hot chocolate (which isn’t sweet!) and selection.

Bakemono: Top Mentions
My top picks are the cheese and ham croissant; any berry danish and you can’t go wrong with a croffle (seasonal) - a croissant and waffle if you guys were wondering. What is so special about this bakery is the Asian influence which deviates from the French origins of the pastry. Flavours such as matcha croffles, triple chocolate cookies or blueberries and custard which have dominated the contemporary bakery scene, have become iconic at Bakemono.
Whether going to work or university, this bakery is a one-stop shop for an amazing grab-and-go breakfast.
